It might come across as rather unusual, when pointing out that all of the music included in this album had never actually been written nor rehearsed prior to recording.
First there were the lyrics, which are born in a sort of an on-going flow through “automatic writing”, using an associative sub-consciousness, intertwining the sounds and rhythms of Hebrew, English and Gibberish.
The melody follows at the recording studio, being sung only one time.
It always comes to me then as a surprise, how delicious this soup turns out to be, once Gisbert, my co-partner for making this cd, has put it all together to boil in his musical arrangement.
The first 6 tracks included here have more of a song-like structure, while tracks 7 and 8 are more of an ongoing improvisation, creating thereby a more meditative, atmospheric mode.
I had a blast making this album; I hope you would enjoy listening to it.
